Booking & Cancellation Conditions

Finishing your booking constitutes a binding agreement to the booking and cancellation conditions. Mondial GmbH & Co KG reserves the right to change or cancel your bookings in case you fail to make payment in due time, or do not qualify for and/or provide proof for the selected registration fee.

All handling/modification fees stated (for early cancellations and name changes) are net, before any VAT.

For all prices stated: In the event that new, higher legal charges are introduced, these will be added to the contract price.

Any refunds will be made after the conference.

1. REGISTRATION
Fees for the conference registration and Welcome Reception are cashed and stated in Euro.

The day of payment is decisive for the registration fee, not the day of registration (Early Fee - payment by Friday, Sept 29, 2023; Regular Fee - payment after Friday, Sept 29, 2023).

Cancellations must be made in writing to the conference secretariat, Mondial GmbH & Co KG. If received before Friday, Sept 29, 2023, all fees, except for a cancellation handling fee of EUR 30,- net will be refunded. No refunds will be made after this date. 
For name changes a modification fee of EUR 10,- net will be charged. 

Delays or modifications in the programme, caused by whatever reason, do not entitle to reimbursement of registration fees.

In order to validate your membership of APSP, AOS, APOS your contact details will be forwarded to the respective society. 

2. PARTICIPATION IN THE CONGRESS

Without any exception, you agree to obey all regulations/rules imposed by the organizer or staff at the congress venue designated to carry out a successful and safe congress (this might be access regulations/control based on vaccination and/or PCR test status, compulsory safe distance to other people, compulsory wearing of face masks etc.). The regulations mandatory during EFP IPMC 2024 congress will be communicated to all participants by email as well as on the congress website.

Onsite, in the case of loss of the name badge, a replacement badge will only be provided against full payment of the applicable on-site registration fee. Forgotten badges will be replaced against a deposit of EUR 150,-

Delays or modifications in the programme, caused by whatever reason, do not entitle to reimbursement of registration fees and Mondial Congress & Events will not be liable to you for any cost incurred by you as a result.

It is strictly prohibited to record, reproduce or commercially reuse any visual and audio content presented in connection with the congress. 
If you are a speaker, you remain owner of the intellectual property rights of your content and you grant Mondial Congress & Events/EFP at no additional cost the right, to make use of this content meaning distributing it and making it publicly available, but always limited to the marketing purposes in the scope of EFP’s activities including the congresses.

3. FORCE MAJEURE
Mondial Congress & Events will not be liable if the congress is, in whole or in part, cancelled, rescheduled or postponed, or for any failure or delay to perform the obligations of Mondial Congress & Events under these terms, if such event results from anything beyond the reasonable control of Mondial Congress & Events (e.g. natural disasters, flood, riots, fire, flooding, acts of terror, war, labour strike, extreme weather, communicable disease such as epidemic or pandemic, malicious damage, compliance with any law or governmental order, or mechanical, electronic or communications failure or degradation, or any other emergency) or anything else that renders performance of the congress, in whole or in part, impracticable, illegal or impossible.

4. LIABILITY
Mondial GmbH & Co KG and the organising society will not assume any responsibility for accidents, losses or damages, caused by unforeseen circumstances. No claims for indemnification for travel or other expenses from Mondial GmbH & Co KG and the organising society shall arise for companies and participants should the conference, based on whatever cause and regardless of the timing, be partially or completely converted into a digital web-based event, or should the conference be cancelled as a whole. Delegates are advised to arrange their own, personal travel and health insurance. Only written agreements shall be valid. The place of jurisdiction shall be Vienna.
