BOOKING & CANCELLATION CONDITIONS

The above-mentioned congress is organized by FELASA & HSBLAS. Mondial Congress & Events is the appointed organizing agency of FELASA & HSBLAS.

Finishing your booking constitutes a binding agreement to the booking and cancellation conditions. The organizer reserves the right to change or cancel your bookings in case you fail to make payment in due time, or do not qualify for the selected registration fee.

For all prices stated: If new, higher legal charges are introduced, these will be added to the contract price.

Any refunds will be made after the congress.

1. REGISTRATION

Fees for congress registration and networking events are cashed in Euro and include 24% VAT. The day of payment is decisive for the registration fee, not the day of registration (Early Fee - payment by Tuesday, February 25, 2025; Late and Onsite Fee - payment after Wednesday, February 26, 2025).

Cancellations must be made in writing to Mondial Congress & Events before Tuesday, February 25, 2025. The cancellation handling fee is EUR 40,- net. This fee is subject to statutory VAT according to Austrian and EU regulation. No refunds will be made after February 25, 2025.

For name changes and replacements, a modification fee of EUR 25,- net will be charged. This fee is subject to statutory VAT according to Austrian and EU regulation.

IACLAM Day: Kindly note that changes from an "IACLAM Day only" registration to a full congress registration including IACLAM Day are possible only until the official cancellation deadline on February 25, 2025. No refunds will be made after February 25, 2025.

2. PARTICIPATION IN THE CONGRESS

Without any exception, you agree to obey all regulations/rules imposed by the organizer or staff at the congress venue designated to carry out a successful and safe congress (this might be access regulations/control, compulsory safe distance to other people, compulsory wearing of face masks etc.). The regulations mandatory during congress will be communicated to all participants by email as well as on the congress website.

Onsite, in the case of loss of the name badge, a replacement badge will only be provided against full payment of the applicable on-site registration fee. Forgotten badges will be replaced against a deposit of EUR 100,-

Delays or modifications in the programme, caused by whatever reason, do not entitle to reimbursement of registration fees and the organizer will not be liable to you for any cost incurred by you as a result.

The organizing company reserves the right, due to external circumstances beyond the company's control (e.g. pandemic), to provide the program and its content alternatively in digital format. In this case, the participant has no claim to a refund of the participation fee.

It is strictly prohibited to record, reproduce or commercially reuse any visual and audio content presented in connection with the congress.
If you are a speaker, you remain owner of the intellectual property rights of your content and you grant the organizer at no additional cost the right, to make use of this content meaning distributing it and making it publicly available, but always limited to the marketing purposes in the scope of FELASA’s activities including the congresses.

3. ACCOMMODATION

AFEA Congress has been appointed as official housing agency for FELASA 2025 and is handling and booking accommodation for participants of FELASA 2025. The contract will be between delegates and AFEA Congress. Payment and all other arrangements regarding accommodation are organised by AFEA Congress directly. Please find details here.

4. FORCE MAJEURE

The organizer will not be liable if the congress is, in whole or in part, cancelled, rescheduled or postponed, or for any failure or delay to perform the obligations of the organizer under these terms, if such event results from anything beyond the reasonable control of the organizer (e.g. natural disasters, flood, riots, fire, flooding, acts of terror, war, labour strike, extreme weather, communicable disease such as epidemic or pandemic, malicious damage, compliance with any law or governmental order, or mechanical, electronic or communications failure or degradation, or any other emergency) or anything else that renders performance of the congress, in whole or in part, impracticable, illegal or impossible.

5. LIABILITY

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the organizer disclaims all warranties or conditions, either express or implied, or any part of them in respect of any aspect of the EuroPerio10. You acknowledge and agree that in accepting these booking and cancellation conditions you have not relied on any representation or warranty that is not expressly included in these booking and cancellation conditions and you agree that you shall have no remedy in respect of any misrepresentation which has not become a part of these booking and cancellation conditions. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the organizer excludes any liability for any damages, loss, injury, or liability whatsoever suffered out of or in connection with the congress and these booking and cancellation conditions.
Nothing in these booking and cancellation conditions purports to exclude or limit liability for gross negligence or wilful intent or in respect of any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. Only written agreements shall be valid. The place of jurisdiction shall be Vienna. Participants are advised to take individual personal travel and health insurance for the trip.
